Francisca Chigrin
Hailing from Chile, Francisca Chirigin is a true trailblazer for women in the South American motorcycle scene.
A trained commercial engineer with a master’s in management, she picked up motorcycling at the age of 20 but took some time off when she became a mother, as well as, when the Covid-19 pandemic put the world on halt.
She returned to competitive racing in 2021, racing with Yamaha and most recently coming in 2nd place in the GP3 Chile – as the only woman among a roster of men. She has also been racing in the Italika Women’s International Cup in Mexico, where she came in 3rd place, despite breaking her collarbone and missing the final two races.
When she’s not racing, she’s selling her very own motorcycle suits from her brand Chirigin which she designs and imports herself.
When she saw eSC on Instagram, she knew she had to be part of it and is now joining as a rookie on Diogo da Silva’s team MM Racing Revolution.
