The programme for the first New Mobility Forum has been revealed, with leading figures from across micromobility, transport and government set to speak at the event on 13 May.
Organised by the eSkootr Championship™ (eSC), as part of its first ever race weekend in London, the Forum will feature three high-level panels who will discuss key topics around new mobility, transport policy and the social impact of sport. Event media partner Zag Daily, the website for the rapidly growing micromobility industry, has curated the programme to encourage discussion and debate on the key issues across the sectors
The keynote address will be given by Thomas Ableman, Director of Innovation for Transport for London, the government body for the capital’s transport network. This will be followed by a panel session on e-scooter developments and policy, featuring Adam Norris, Founder of micromobility retailer Pure Electric; Georgia Yexley, General Manager for shared operator Tier Mobility; Eleanor Chappell, Head of Micromobility for the UK government’s Department for Transport; and Duncan Robertson, General Manager for shared operator Dott.
The second panel session will focus on public policy and will feature Edmund King OBE, President of British motoring association The AA; Adam Tranter, Cycling & Walking Commissioner for the West Midlands; Vivian Myrtetus, Head of Partnerships & Policy for shared operator Helbiz; Hal Stevenson, Senior Public Affairs Manager for shared operator Lime; and James Padden, General Manager for shared operator Bird.
The final panel session will focus on society and sport, with participation from Frank Lawley, Head of Sport for children’s charity Unicef; Alex Wurz, Co-Founder of the eSkootr Championship; Vicky Gosling OBE, CEO for GB Snowsport; and Matt Bishop, Ambassador for Racing Pride and Chief Communications Officer for Aston Martin F1 Racing.
Delegates attending the Forum will have the opportunity for B2B and B2G networking between panels and will be among the first to see the global debut of eSC as the on-track action begins in the afternoon.

About eSkootr Championship™
eSC is a brand new category of sport with the championship’s first races taking place in 2022. It will be accessible to all and promote the use of sustainable micromobility transportation in urban areas. Riders will race a specially designed eSkootr known as the S1-X. This eSkootr was developed by YCOM and Williams Advanced Engineering and can reach speeds of100 km/h, on bespoke inner-city circuits.
